Found a Texas Spotted Whiptail Lizard!

Took Joey on the trail today, one section is very sandy and hot and a haven for the Texas Spotted Whiptail Lizard. They are quite beautiful but very fast, I did not take the close up picture! We had two lizards that stayed on trail and jogged along in front of us! It was a lot of fun and a challenge for Joey to "leave it" and stay under control and in heel position! It was a fun game for us to play and he actually did pretty good!! You can barely see the lizard on trail maybe if you look close!

Summer Snacks!

After the days activities we let the dogs finish off the watermelon! I think they enjoyed it!

There are many more photos on our Facebook page!
Finished work early, played outside with the dogs, ran tunnels, whistle recalls, hide and seek then here came the rain! haha so much fun!! Play with your dogs even in the rain, it's a blast! His eyes are making me laugh, so big and excited!

Meet Wilson!!

Wilson came to us to help him stop jumping and barking at other dogs! We have accomplished our goal and now he is able to come to classes! He has been in obedience/confidence class and now he is in Rally! This particular day, I was bent over by the wobble board and as he proceeded to get on it he leaned over and gave me a very foamy, drooly kiss right on the lips! Yes, we love Wilson!! Congrats to Wilson and Trina for all their hard work!!

The preferred equipment for a walk is a harness, particularly when you are in the midst of training your dog to walk well on a leash.

You have to meet Tucker!

He and Mike completed our therapy dog class a couple of weeks ago and passed their evalutaion to become a certified therapy dog team with Pet Partners! He is going to be great!! Congratulations on all of your hard work! You will make a lot of people smile!

Blue Buffalo Under Fire for Alleged False Advertising, Misleading Consumers

Blue Buffalo misled customers a few years ago when it was discovered that the chicken in their treats had come from China. It is a food that I have stayed clear from, it seems it has many problems being honest about what exactly is in the food and where it comes from.

Do you know what the canine hip nudge behavior means?

We love the hip nudge! Our Katie and Dixie use it often! I get the nudge a lot when I come in from work and sit down!
