Multi Dog Households

In multi dog households the key to success is training but also lots of management to prevent problems before they happen! This is a great exercise I am currently working on with a few of my dogs.

Dremel Time!

Next two days are dremeling days for my own Trail Mix Gang! I may have to video Dixie, she sees the dremel she goes a little nuts with excitement because she gets to eat frozen yogurt/peanut butter while she is being dremeled. It is the only time she gets this treat! The dremel has become quite valuable to her!

Teen Dogs!

Our teenage class went to their first restaurant a couple of weeks ago and they were a hit! They did well around other dogs, pretty good on their mats, watched cars go by and did well even when the food came out! They were hilarious and we did see areas we still need practice on! It was a very fun evening! They worked this week at the park and practiced some loose leash walking and checking in off distractions! This class is working hard!

We had a small area to work in so we put the mats together. All the dogs went on their mat close and comfortable! Nice job Bella, Ivy and Ryleigh!

Gary was a hit, all the girls love him!

Gary kept air scenting, the food smelled good!

Ryleigh and Bella decided to just hang together.

Bella and Gary watching the cars go by!

A sniff or love break!
