Parking Garage, Elevators and Stairs - OH MY!

This was our third and last Therapy Dog Field Trip.  We visited a parking garage to work on obedience in a new environment, to practice walking up and down stairs and getting on elevators.  We also practiced good car manners.  Congratulations to our Therapy Dog Graduates!

A "stay" in new surroundings.

"Stay" for Izzy

Deke walking into the elevator!  He gets clicked and lots of treats once inside.

Janice and Izzy trying out the stairs in a tight stairwell.  Izzy did not mind the stairs!

Deke also not minding the stairs!

Izzy goes into the elevator!

Taking a break from the elevators and practicing a little loose leash walking.

Baselone wasn't too sure about the stairs.  He was clicked and treated for every step he offered.  A few more runs and the stairs weren't so bad.

Baselone's turn in the elevator.  He is so big we had to watch out for his tail!

Nice down, we are beginning to work on manners at the car.

Very nice stays!

Working on "stay" with Baselone.

Everybody "up" or "load" getting in only on cue

We have conquered the elevators!
