Brewski's Big Day!

Brewski did Amazing on Saturday! He walked around the show area among the other dogs with no reactivity! I watched him use various calming signals and a few other tools that we have taught him in training to help himself deal with anxiety. This was a real treat for me! He was very social with people and let everyone pet him and talk to him. As they read his rescue story, everyone had tears in their eyes including myself, so proud how far he has come! Thanks Mike and Michele for letting me be a part of your day, what a wonderful job you have done for this sweet boy!

First day here and just walking around to get comfortable!

Michele and Brewski, getting ready to go down stairs to the show area!

Handsome Boy! Bow tie and all!!

Moving towards the line up to go into the ring! He was cautious, looking at all the dogs, air scenting and then checking back in with Michele! No reaction, no barking or lunging!

Getting instructions before going in!

Brewski got to see his foster mom, she nursed him back to health after he was shot.

Brewski's heroes!

Time to begin!

Love this pic of Michele and Brewski! He is looking for reassurance and Michele letting him know it is all ok!

They read his story about how he had been shot and his road to recovery while he walked around the ring! He wanted to visit with everyone!!

Leaning into Mike for a "good boy!"

Brewski receiving his medal!

Group picture!! Sorry about the quality, little point and shoot I used but a professional print of this one is coming!

Sleeping peacefully on the way home, sweet boy!
